It's Never Too Early To Play Soccer!
Polaris Soccer Club Juniors Program ("Junior Stars") is for younger athletes, born between 2016 and 2013 (U5 to U8) that are looking for a positive introduction to the game of soccer, with an emphasis on fun.
The Junior Stars program, led by Josh Brader, is designed to enchance a player's intruduction to soccer. You will find the FUNdamental principles of Education, Safety and Happiness at the heart of our program!
Our staff members utilize terminology and age-appropriate activities which support growth in early physical, emotional, cognitive and social stages. Outcomes include a solid technical base, an excitement for soccer and reinforcement of social skills. By incorporating lessons in teamwork, cooperation, sportsmanship and kindness, we believe kids will have increased success in sports, school and life.
Keeping kids engaged is a critical part of learning; our coaches are licensed, experienced, and excellent teachers. Four members of Polaris SC maintain Masters Degrees in teaching. Thousands of kids have benefited over the last 3 decades from early childhood best-practices with Polaris SC coaches, spanning various camp, clinic and team settings.
Our top priorities are keeping kids safe and happy. Management of the total player experience (facility, equipment, environment, games, coach/player and player/player interactions, etc.) will occur with physical and emotional safety in mind. From arrival to departure, we minimize risk.
*Covid-19 statement: Junior Stars programming will occur as long as state policies, as dictated by the Ohio Department of Health, allow such activities to occur. All safeguards and recommended practices will be implemented and followed.
Athletic and social activities are important contributors to the health and well being of kids. It is our goal that Junior Stars have so much FUN, they can’t wait to come back. We measure success in smiles! While our methodologies aim to teach skills and ‘set the hook’ for a long term love of soccer, our positive reinforcement practices build self-esteem and earn confidence and trust. Our Junior Stars program will keep players moving, playing, developing and smiling!

No, it does not. Our goal with the program is to supplement the recreational experience. We would encourage all of our players to continue with their local programming and teams.
